Yes! SetTheOccasion.com is here! John coded this custom for Thena – beautifully responsive, deep linking portfolio pages, perfectly optimized photos, slideshows with several different progress options – well done, partner. I love the design – so simple and elegant and all about the photos.

Header to this blog post is a setting photo as we integrated it into a header graphic for the contact page.

CUSTOM PHOTOGRAPHY

Love it when I am able to create my own photo to fit with a design. So much nicer than searching for stock photos and then trying to customize them.

For these food still-life shots, I knew what colours, what layout, and what vibe I wanted for the brand and shot it with food found in the house and garden.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PHOTO SHOOT

We enjoyed a trip to South San Francisco last week to photograph a property for our home-owners association management client, Tri-State Enterprises. Some of the apartments had this view, which even in the rain, looked amazing.

The Hayes Valley, San Francisco location of Hayes Valley Medical is gorgeous. It’s a beautiful facility, made even better by the artwork of Elizabeth Gorek. We’ve been working with them on print and online marketing. These shots have been posted to their web site.

What could be more fun than working with Halo Blow Dry Bars and HPD Public Relations? Halo is using their clients as models. MPS got to shoot the models at Halo while the stylists were working on them. We now have a library of unique photos our client will have on hand for use in print or online marketing.

Have you been to MenloVille? It’s a fantastic shop on Valpariso Avenue between Alameda de las Pulgas and El Camino in Menlo Park. It’s great for gifts and for high-end re purposed items. We recently did a photoshoot there and then created this full-page magazine ad. See the ad in the November issue of Gentry (we did the SkinSpirit ad too!)
